We have all some experience of a feeling, that comes over us occasionally, of what we are saying and doing having been said and done before, in a remote time - of our having been surrounded, dim ages ago, by the same faces, objects, and circumstances - of our knowing perfectly what will be said next, as if we suddenly remember it!
Charles Dickens - David Copperfield - chapter 39

A series of over twenty five unique works is a visual reference to the bewildering phenomenon of Déjàvu, a sudden and fleeting feeling of which most of us have experienced but found difficult to recount. It generally gets left unexplained or described in a vague sense, but Julie’s work thoughtfully considers this phenomenon as ephemeral delicate moments, captured as fragmented evidence of forgotten and lost memories, recounted as a fictitious and ghostly narrative.
